Restorative Care

Restorative care can help you to regain your confidence in your smile.  Common dental issues such as broken teeth, periodontal decay, and misalignment are all easily treated by our expert team.  We utilize state-of-the-art technology to make every restoration seamless and ensure that our treatments are as comfortable and pain-free as possible.  Each care plan is individualized for the patient’s unique needs.

To get your smile back to its best condition, here are some of the restorative care services we offer:

Composite fillings:

We want you to have a beautiful smile.  The composite filling has many advantages over old metal filling used in the past.  They are made of a hard material that is colored to match your existing smile.  They have a much more natural appearance and are more affordable.  Let us free from “metal mouth” by replacing your old metal filing with new composite fillings to give you a beautiful smile.

Dentures / Partials:

There are many options for prosthodontic dentistry for damaged or missing teeth.  Catskill Dental Care is an expert resource for helping you review and choose the best option for your lifestyle.

Dentures can improve your dental health as well as your self-confidence.  Patients can choose partial or complete dentures as a more cost-effective solution for missing teeth as they are typically less expensive than permanent dental implants.  Catskill Dental Care is an expert resource for complete and partial dentures and denture repair.  Our individualized treatment plans ensure that dentures are properly fitted to improve speech, make chewing more comfortable, and boost self-confidence.

Root Canal:

If a tooth becomes infected to the dental pulp, a root canal treatment may be prescribed.  The infections can become quite painful, and the treatment quickly relieves patients of any pain.  Modern root canals are extremely effective in saving the natural tooth and are relatively painless.

During a root canal, the dentist will remove the dental pulp to stop the infection.  Once cleaned, the pulp chamber will be filled to prevent any bacteria from reentering the area.  And finally, a crown will be placed over the tooth to return its natural shape.  Most treatments can be completed in just a few visits and patients are back to their smile infection-free.

Extractions:

We pride ourselves on helping our patients to have the best oral care possible. However, due to injury, crowding, or excessive decay, there are times when a tooth extraction may be needed. The procedure is done under local anesthetic and patients may feel only a slight pressure or pulling sensation during the extraction. Afterward, our friendly and professional staff will work with patients on individualized a post-treatment and follow-up plans to avoid any complications and ensure a fast and easy recovery
